Careful removal of mats and tangles to improve your pet’s comfort and coat health. 

Severely matted areas may require shaving to safely remove mats without causing pain or injury to the skin. The amount of shaving needed and final pricing may vary depending on the severity and location of the matting. In some cases, extensive matting may require referral to a full grooming service. Removing mats can sometimes reveal underlying skin irritation that was hidden beneath the coat.

Application of soft nail caps for cats to help prevent scratching damage to furniture, floors, and skin. I provide clear claw caps for cats. I’m also happy to apply dog claw caps or colored caps, but owners must supply the correct size and type. Nails are trimmed beforehand to ensure a comfortable fit and safe application.

I provide in-home support to safely administer prescribed medications and treatments, including injections (insulin, B-12, subcutaneous fluids), oral medications, and other veterinarian-directed treatments.

I offer light in-home grooming, including basic trims, brushing, and sanitary trims (see above). While I’m not a traditionally trained groomer, I have extensive experience with medical grooming, such as lion shaves, mat removal, and other specialized trims.

This service involves taking a series of glucose measurements over a set period of time, as directed by your veterinarian, to help track how your pet is responding to their prescribed insulin or treatment plan.

Many pets with conditions like heart disease, kidney disease, and diabetes benefit from regular blood pressure checks, but stress at the clinic can sometimes cause readings to be higher than normal. While veterinary professionals are highly skilled at obtaining blood pressure measurements, pets who feel anxious in a clinical setting may not give the most accurate results.

By taking measurements at home, where your pet feels safe and relaxed, we can help gather more reliable data for your veterinarian.
